The Christian Education Program at St. John’s Church seeks to meet the diverse needs of all its children as an important part of the community of faith and the future life and strength of our Church.

The goal of the Church School is to offer the youngest members of our community an opportunity

  • to gain an understanding of the fundamental tenets of the Christian faith and the rich history of the Anglican tradition;
  • an appreciation for the Episcopal form of worship;
  • to be fully engaged in the outreach mission of the Church.

The curriculum for the Church School offers a creative and interactive approach to educating them that accommodates St. John’s unique demographics.

Throughout the year, children of the Church School participate in a variety of the Outreach efforts of the Parish, including baking pies at Thanksgiving for the food baskets which are distributed by the Town to members of the community.
